Four weeks into boot camp,  Ducky was learning to keep his quacking abilities to himself.

'Babybird AWOL'

Sergeant Noisy Cockatiel also had a new recruit, 'Babybird'. Tho feathers were just popping out, Babybird went AWOL

Update - Babybird was located and is doing fine. She returned to base a few times but civilian life seems to agree with her - so maybe we will see some new recruits in the spring
